Friday is here again! I’m only a week into vacation and I want an extended stay, LOL. I’m treating myself to a nice breakfast today because I’m on the final edits of Suds and Sam on the Lam. Wohoo! It’ll be on to the next book shortly😉.

God help me. After our last fiasco, we agreed. From now on, we’re only investigating divorce cases, missing pets, and petty shit where no one gets murdered, shot, or thrown in jail. That’s the reason we invested in a new telephoto lens and why she was taking pictures, willy-nilly, in front of a drug dealer’s place of business.

One of my daughters is finally coming home from abroad after my vacation. She’ll be coming to see us soon with my older daughter who lives in Brooklyn. It’s been way too long. I can’t wait. At least there’s something to look forward to! It’s important to count even the small blessings.

Hump day, we’re at the home stretch! I’m sitting outside soaking up the last rays of  summer sun, sipping my coffee and planning out so many new stories. Are you ready for fall? I don’t think I ever am, LOL.

Tuesdays seem much more manageable while on vacation, LOL. I’ve been running on the beach, eating some amazing seafood, and of course, writing in peace. I also celebrated my 40th anniversary with my best friend, aka holy heck where has the time gone, haha!!

I’m officially at the beach WOO-HOO! What a nice change of pace(don’t worry I’m staying safe). I  love the sounds of the waves crashing, the smell of the salty air, and of course the sand between my toes. It’s the perfect place to write.

This week’s freebie is Dangerous Code!
He’s a detective, a member of NYC’s joint task force on terrorism and she’s a gorgeous person of interest. Her artificial intelligence broke through our firewalls. Unfortunately, it screwed up, big time

She swears a terrorist, someone from her past, has a serious ax to grind. I’m not so sure…We either work together or someone’s going to take down our fair city. Time is running out.

RI’s Review…

*I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review*

I almost didn’t download this ARC for one simple reason… I don’t want other readers thinking I’m giving it a 5 star rating because of it. However like a user needing her fix, I hit download and prayed like Sam that this book was as good as the other because I need to know what happens.

I was not disappointed. Not even a little. There has been only 1 other series I’ve read that I’ve given multiple books 5 stars. Don’t be offended but authors usually let me down after book 2 sometimes they wait till 3, it happens non the less. Stella didn’t do that. She writes words that I want to keep reading. She writes in a way that sucks you in and keeps you there till the very end.

I know this is a glowing review, it’s sickening. That’s how good this book is though. That’s how good this series is. I want to find fault just so I feel like I haven’t lost my captious heart. At the end of the day though it just works! Its got everything you want in a book. Unless you don’t like a little sexy time. Then maybe you could find fault.

A hot hero alpha male. A smart, brave she hero a she-ro if you will. Action, adventure, comedy, lovins, friendship, a healthy relationship. It’s just a good combo.

Murder. Framing. Adventure. Kidnapping. Rescue mission. Crazy cat. You can’t stop till it’s all done. Seriously, go read it then come back and reply to this and let me know if I’m wrong. Or even if you agree.
